On the Dragon Boat Festival, more than 40 teams competed in Tianhu Park, Nanhai District, Foshan City. As a typical Lingnan water town, the villages of Nanhai District have been holding dragon boat racing traditional folk activities since ancient times. Each town and street in Nanhai holds various dragon boat races every year to promote the longevity of dragon boat culture. Nowadays, the integration of traditional culture and modern competition has attracted a large number of visitors.

6月3日，端午节假期首日，超40支队伍在佛山市南海区西樵山天湖公园现场竞逐，再现“半山扒龙船”盛况。作为典型的岭南水乡，南海各村自古就有扒龙舟的传统民俗活动。南海各镇街每年都会举办大大小小各式龙舟赛，促进南海龙舟文化生生不息。如今，传统文化与现代竞技、特色人文与城市新景有机融合，吸引了大量市民围观喝彩。
