Recently, colorful silk handicraft in Zhongshan was selected in the eighth batch of representative intangible cultural heritage projects in Guangdong Province. These handicrafts weremadeby villagers through painting, bunching, coloring and bamboo, cane and mineral pigments and other local products. The handicrafts, with the typical style of the southern totem culture, reflect the attributes of the folk mascot and are well-received by people.

近日，中山市彩扎项目入选广东省第八批省级非物质文化遗产代表性项目名录。彩扎诞生至今已有300多年历史。彩扎是村民利用竹子、籐条、彩布、纱纸和矿石颜料等本地产物，通过绘画、扎作、上色、装配等制作的工艺品。彩扎不仅体现民间吉祥物的属性，更具有南方图腾文化的典型风格，深受百姓喜爱。
