The "Legend of the Peach Blossom Fan", a Cantonese opera adapted from a classic novel, was performed by Guangzhou Hongdou Cantonese Opera Troupe on May 9. In order to put this work, which was created more than 300 years ago, on the stage, the founding team repeatedly listened to the opinions of experts and scholars, and adapted the script many times. Despite being an incubation play, the play interprets the original story in combination with the aesthetic of the times, and is composed and performed by young drama talents.

5月9日晚，广州红豆粤剧团根据古典名著改编的粤剧《桃花扇传奇》正式公演。为了把这部创作于300多年前的作品搬上粤剧舞台，创演团队多次聆听专家、学者意见，反复磨合剧本。虽然只是一部孵化剧目，但该剧结合时代审美阐释原著故事，由青年戏剧人才担纲创作演出，特别是音乐和舞美，亮点频出。
