In May, the South China Botanical Garden of the Chinese Academy of Sciences is full of flowers. In the statue path in the park, a 1:1 size statue depicts the founder of the park, Chun Woon-young, member of the science department of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Chun Woon-young spent his life "cultivating" the land of South China, creating a new era of modern plant scientific research in China, especially making groundbreaking contributions to plant taxonomy.

五月的中科院华南植物园正桃李芳菲，花开满园。在园中的雕像径中，一座1:1等身大小的雕像刻画出该园的创建者——中科院学部委员陈焕镛。陈焕镛毕生在华南大地上“耕耘”，开创了中国现代植物科学研究的新纪元，特别是为植物分类学作出奠基式的贡献。
