Xiong Shili, one of China’s well-known philosophers, once lived in Guanhai Building, located in Panyu District, Guangzhou. Many outstanding academic works were developed in this old house. Now, it is covered with withered vines and leaves, full of old stories. NPC deputies and CPPCC members in Guangdong Province have jointly called for the restoration of the Guanhai Building as soon as possible. Guanhai Building is likely to become an important place to promote Chinese culture in the future.
