Wuqinzhang Mountain, a branch of Lianhua Mountain in the northeast of Huizhou, Guangdong Province, is the birthplace of Xizhi River (Xizhi Jiang), an important water source in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. The mountains and forests here are home to many strange flowers and rare birds and animals. In recent years, thanks to the joint efforts of the society, the environment of the Wuqinzhang area has been well protected, helping to breed the largest Chinese pangolin population in China.
