The Limit of Heat, one of China’s 24 solar terms, comes on today. As the second solar term of autumn, the Limit of Heat means it is no longer hot. In the streets of Guangzhou, many citizens and tourists travel with umbrellas under the strong sunlight. Those without umbrellas also try to lift their clothes or cover the sun with their hands. Some citizens and tourists will buy cold drinks and ice cream in convenience stores passing by.
8月23日，我国迎来二十四节气中的“处暑”。作为秋天第二个节气，“处暑”带有“炎热离开”之意。但在广东，炎热天气可能还会持续一段时间。不少市民和游客在强烈日光下下撑伞出行，没有伞的人也设法掀起衣物或用双手遮挡阳光，部分市民和游客也会在路过的便利店买冷饮和雪糕消暑。
