The second Guangzhou Live E-commerce Festival will be held from September 9 to 28, according to Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau. Su Bingtian, the men's 100-meter Asian record holder, specially recorded a video for the festival, calling on Chinese and foreign consumers to select and purchase distinctive "Cantonese goods" online.
This year's e-commerce festival will adopt a combination of online and offline consumption, broaden the exposure channels of high-quality brands, and invite diversified live broadcast platforms to promote Cantonese goods to global consumers. Online activities will mainly cover more than 10 mainstream live broadcast platforms, such as: WeChat, Alibaba, Tik Tok, Kuaishou, JD.com, Suning.com, and Vipshop. Consumers can then watch the live streaming on these applications and purchase products. While offline activities mainly include a main venue and branch venues in 11 districts of Guangzhou as well as some special category branch venues.
Organized by the Guangzhou Municipal People's Government, this festival is dedicated to promoting the construction of a Cross-border E-commerce Hub City and continuing to build Guangzhou's new business card—the City of Live E-commerce.
