In order to celebrate the 115th anniversary of Jinan University and promote the construction of characteristic regional culture, Ke Rongqing, the school board member, donated 10 million yuan to prepare for the establishment of the Chaozhou Cultural Research Center. Ke Rongqing expressed the hope to carry out academic research, talent training and cultural and creative industry development around the inheritance, dissemination and innovation of Chaozhou culture, so as to promote the development of Chaozhou culture in the 21st century.
为庆祝暨南大学建校115周年，推进特色地域文化建设，校董柯荣卿捐赠1000万元人民币，筹备成立潮州文化研究中心。柯荣卿表示，希望面向海内外几千万潮州人，围绕潮州文化的传承、传播与创新三个方面开展学术研究、人才培养和文创产业开发，推动潮州文化在21世纪的发展。
