◆ The World of No One —Artworks of Lisi Xie, Qinshan Zhou, Ying Zhuo

The three young artists all have both academic background and rich experience in exhibiting contemporary art works both in China and abroad. This exhibition presents their observation and search from unique perspectives beyond the reality.

◆ Brightness after Rain — Ink Wash Painting by Song Yugui

This exhibition focuses on Song Yugui's works in ink lotus, flowers, marshes, and spring mountains which were created over the past 30 years after the change of his painting style in the 1990s, and systematically sorts his in-depth research on the formal language of ink painting.

◆ Uselessness as Usage —Operation Delta #4: Architects in Action

The Pearl River Delta in China has shifted in recent years from developing rudimentary manufacturing industry to promoting science and technology, creating a new model for city development. This exhibition follows the rapid and dramatic changes that have taken place in recent years in this region as well as on a global stage.

◆ Fever Dream

The artists in this exhibition track, ruminate, and reproduce passionate and fanatical pieces of life through artistic creation. Cutting their perspective into daily life, they capture the real, effulgent, reflection of light, inspiration from trivial life, shape those emotions in the ordinary into various forms of interpretation with their young creativity, and illustrate the impassioned nature of life in visual language from different perspectives.

◆ Shanze Ventilation — Li Ming Ink Exhibition

Artist Li Ming is an outstanding explorer in the field of new ink and wash painting. The exhibition will present 26 of his latest works, mostly landscape series as well as animal series.

◆ Along with the People — Guan Shanyue's Painting around 1949

2021 marks the centenary of the founding of the Communist Party of China. Based on the works of famous Chinese artist Guan Shanyue created circa 1949, the Guan Shanyue Museum displays his creations in the context of the current historical node, so that the public can learn more about the stories at that time.

◆ Epigraphy Scholar's Collection

Chinese scholar and connoisseur Rong Geng (1894-1983) spent a lifetime of research on Chinese paleography and epigraphy and collected Chinese antiques to prevent them from being lost during times of war. The 207 objects exhibited include bronzeware, paintings, calligraphic works, rubbings, seals, manuscripts, letters and books, reflecting Rong's academic achievements and his contribution to the country.

Foshan

◆ Transformation from poetic to realistic —Modern Chinese Art from HEM Collection

This exhibition enlists several Chinese artists as the entry point, to show a glimpse of the exploration of artists including Fu Baoshi, Li Keran and Guan Shanyue in their artistic creations. Their works bear the distinctive mark of the time. The artistic creations from different periods are examined in a coherent manner, outlining the modern transformation of modern Chinese landscape painting and the spirit of change that embodied with the brush and ink.

The He Art Museum is a family-owned not-for-profit art museum, designed by Pritzker Prize laureate Tadao Ando. The museum is home to the He family's art collection, featuring international contemporary art, Chinese modern and Chinese contemporary art. The museum houses more than 500 works ranging from paintings to calligraphy, photography and sculptures. Inspired by "ancient Chinese cosmology, philosophy, western style of light and Lingnan's terrain, Tadao Ando created a place of harmony."
