The Jiuxian peach ushered in a bumper harvest in Wengyuan, Guangdong this summer. With a cultivation history of nearly 500 years, Wengyuan County is known as the hometown of the Jiuxian peach in China. The Jiuxian peach in Wengyuan has large fruit, plump, thick meat, small pit and high sugar content. Due to its reputation of being a “holy peach” and “Lingnan’s Best Fruit”, it has attracted a lot of merchants and visitors inside and outside the province to come here, taste and purchase this “sweetness on the tongue”.
