In the ancient village of Pantang, which has a history of more than 900 years, there is a big house with grey bricks in which all kinds of flowers are blooming, such as cherry blossoms, sunflowers and poppies. These are not real flowers, but imitations madeof paper. Large flowers hanging on the wall, let people feel as if they are in a dreamland. More than 1,700 years ago, our ancestors used different techniques to make silk and paper flowers because fresh flowers were not easy to keep. Nowadays, a team from Guangzhou is using the craft of paper flowers to bring out the beauty of Lingnan culture.
在有900余年历史的泮塘古村一栋青砖大屋内，“盛放”着硕大的樱花、向日葵、虞美人等。这些花并非真的鲜花，而是用纸作成的仿真花。硕大的花朵吊挂在墙体上，恍惚间犹如置身梦幻仙境。1700多年前开始，因为鲜花不易保存，祖先运用不同的工艺方式制作绢花、纸花等。今天，一支广州团队玩转造花工艺，以现代新颖的方式绽放岭南文化之美。
