Recently, Transformation from Poetic to Realistic——Modern Chinese Art from HEM Collection opened in Shunde, Guangdong Province. Starting from individual cases, the exhibition shows the artistic process of Chinese modern and contemporary artists, such as Fu Baoshi, Li Keran and Guan Shanyue, whomadegreat efforts to reform in the process of exploration. The theme of their creation has shifted from conveying the ideal of seclusion to shaping the magnificent natural rivers and mountains. This transformation is not only based on the background of China’s rapid development, but also the timely adjustmentmadeby the artist.
近日，“换了人间：从苦瓜诗意到山河新貌——和美术馆藏中国近现代作品展”在广东顺德开展。展览以艺术家个案为切入点，展示了以傅抱石、李可染、关山月等为代表的中国近现代艺术家在探索中努力进行变革的艺术历程。他们的作品展现了二十世纪中国山水画的转型之路：创作主题从传达隐逸理想转向塑造英雄化的自然河山。这种转换既是基于中国快速发展的社会背景，也是艺术家所作的适时调整。
