Haixin Bridge, the first pedestrian bridge across the Pearl River, can also be called “Xiaofengyan”. It incorporates images that are representative of Lingnan culture, such as the long sleeves of Cantonese opera, water flower market and Guqin. Meanwhile, the unique design of the cable-stayed arch and curved beams hasmadeit become a symbol of bridge construction in China. It is not only a pedestrian bridge but also a cultural bridge, bringing a new strong visual landmark to Guangzhou.
