In 2025, the New Zealand Guangdong General Chamber of Commerce helped establish Guangdong's first county-level overseas warehouse in Auckland. The overseas warehouse provides SMEs with a one-stop service covering everything from sample display, sales matchmaking and payment settlement to logistics, customs clearance, and after-sales maintenance.Chen Jianfeng, Vice President of the New Zealand Guangdong General Chamber of Commerce, stated that SMEs face challenges such as complex procedures, high costs, and information asymmetry when independently venturing into overseas markets. The county-level overseas warehouse adopts a "samples first, front showroom and back warehouse" model: first, it promotes samples provided by enterprises through local resources and engages potential clients. Once clients confirm their intent, they can pay the warehouse’s local operating company. After deducting service fees, the company remits the payment to the domestic enterprise, which then arranges shipment. Chen said, "Under our model, even a single broom can be exported."

With a warehouse, customs broker, and freight forwarder based in Guangzhou, the overseas warehouse offers a one-stop service including classification, container consolidation, customs clearance, and transportation. All domestic enterprises need to do is deliver their goods to the warehouse in Guangzhou. Currently, the overseas warehouse partners with approximately 100 companies.

In addition to that, the chamber of commerce has set up dedicated centers for mechanical and electronic repairs, so domestic enterprises can entrust the overseas warehouse with after-sales service.

Qiu Junqiang, managing director of Blue Spring Yy Limited, which specializes in floor coatings, signed a contract with the overseas warehouse in February 2026. In June of the same year, the company secured its first order, and in September, its products were put into use at a cabinet factory in Auckland. Qiu pointed out that cooperating with the overseas warehouse requires only a small initial investment. If the products prove unsuitable for the local market within two years, the fees will be refunded, which makes it an ideal option for SMEs to dip their toes into overseas markets.

“一把扫把都能出口！”广东中小企业出海新西兰有了新通道

2025年，新西兰粤商会在奥克兰推动广东首家县域海外仓项目落地。该海外仓为中小企业提供从样品展示、销售对接、收款结算到物流报关、售后维保的一站式服务。

新西兰粤商会副会长陈剑锋表示，中小企业独立开拓海外市场面临流程复杂、成本较高、信息不对称等难题。县域海外仓采用“样品先行、前展后仓”模式：企业先提供样品，由海外仓利用本地资源推广、对接客户；客户确定意向后直接向海外仓当地公司付款，海外仓收取服务费后将货款转付国内企业，企业再安排发货。陈剑锋说：“按照我们的模式，哪怕一把扫把都可以出口。”

海外仓在广州设有仓库、报关公司和货运公司，提供一条龙服务。国内企业只需将货物送至广州仓库，后续归类、拼柜、统一报关和运输均由海外仓处理。目前海外仓已对接约100家企业。

售后方面，商会设立机械维修中心和电子维修中心，企业可委托海外仓开展售后代理。

广州亨隆科技发展有限公司主营地坪涂料，负责人邱俊强2026年2月与海外仓签约。同年6月企业获得第一笔订单，9月产品投入奥克兰一家橱柜工厂使用。邱俊强表示，与海外仓合作前期只需投入少量成本，若两年内产品不适合当地市场，费用会返还，适合中小企业试水海外市场。
