On the evening of August 12th, Honor officially unveiled the world's first "Robot Phone" in Guangzhou.

According to details released at the launch event, the Robot Phone embeds a retractable and rotatable miniature mechanical gimbal directly into its body. The lens can autonomously track subjects and auto-compose shots. Honor stated that the device offers significantly enhanced stabilization, supporting handheld night-mode photography, with color profiles co-tuned by German film and photography equipment manufacturer ARRI. The 12GB RAM + 512GB storage variant is priced at 9,999 yuan, while the 16GB RAM + 1TB storage version goes for 12,999 yuan.

As a product that deeply integrates an articulated mechanical gimbal with a smartphone, it marks the first time robotics technology has entered the mobile phone industry as a mass-produced consumer product. Its concept model was first showcased at MWC Barcelona in March this year, following a preview at Honor's launch event last October. Moving from concept to commercial product took less than a year.

That the "Robot Phone" was born in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) is no coincidence. The technology driving the gimbal—a combination of micro-motors, precision structural components, and AI algorithms—aligns perfectly with the region's formidable industrial foundation. Shenzhen's smart terminal cluster has crossed the trillion-yuan threshold, with the output of 39 industrial products—including integrated circuits, industrial robots, and smartphones—accounting for over 10% of the national total. In 2025, Shenzhen's robotics industry hit a total output value exceeding 240 billion yuan, marking a year-on-year growth of over 20%.

At the launch event, David Bermbach, Chief Product Officer (CPO) of ARRI, stated that the core of their collaboration is packing professional imaging capabilities into a mobile device. He added that the "Robot Phone" is just the beginning, and the two parties will continue to deepen cooperation to lower the barrier to professional creation, turning every user's device into a creative tool.

全球首款机器人手机在大湾区正式发布

8月12日晚，荣耀在广州发布全球首款“机器人手机”Robot Phone。

发布会公布的信息显示，Robot Phone将一套可伸缩旋转的微型机械云台嵌入机身，镜头可自主跟随主体、自动构图，荣耀称其防抖性能明显提升，可支持手持夜景拍摄，并与德国电影摄影设备厂商ARRI联合调校了色彩风格。12GB+512GB版本售价9999元，16GB+1TB版本售价12999元。

这款将可动机械云台与手机深度融合的产品，是机器人技术首次以量产消费品的形式走进手机。其概念机今年3月已率先亮相MWC巴塞罗那展会，去年10月荣耀亦在发布会上预告。从概念到商品，前后不到一年。

“机器人手机”诞生在大湾区，并非偶然。云台背后是微电机、精密结构件与AI算法的组合，恰好落在这片区域最厚的产业积淀上：深圳智能终端集群规模已迈上万亿元台阶，集成电路、工业机器人、智能手机等39种工业产品产量占全国比重超过10%；2025年深圳机器人产业总产值突破2400亿元，同比增长超过20%。

发布会上，ARRI首席产品官大卫·伯姆巴赫表示，双方合作的核心是将专业影像能力“装进”移动设备。“机器人手机”只是起点，未来双方将继续深化合作，降低专业创作门槛，让每个人手中的设备都成为创意工具。
