The chip inside the ball precisely captured the moment a defender passively touched the ball, which was the key evidence that ultimately saw Croatia's equalizer ruled out for offside.

The 2026 FIFA World Cup features the Trionda match ball, made of just four panels stitched together. One of these panels contains an embedded inertial measurement unit (IMU) chip that transmits high-precision ball movement data to VAR within seconds. All of these balls were produced by Adidas's contract manufacturer in Guangdong, China, making them genuine products of Chinese smart manufacturing.

At the World Cup's VAR hub, Hisense's self-developed RGB MiniLED screen has been integrated into the core decision-making environment. The screen boasts extremely high color accuracy, precise local dimming, and AI-driven picture tuning. Inside the stadium, Guangdong-based Absen installed a central funnel-shaped LED display at the World Cup host venue for the first time.

Away from the stadium, AI is also transforming how fans experience the game. Rokid has been named the exclusive AI glasses partner for China Media Group's (CMG) World Cup coverage. Users wearing Rokid AI glasses can access a range of services such as match schedules, detailed statistics, team lineups, score predictions, and viewing assistance.

北京时间7月3日上午，葡萄牙对阵克罗地亚。第102分钟，克罗地亚一度2-2扳平比分，但经VAR视频裁判复核后判定进球无效。足球内部芯片精准捕捉到防守球员的被动触球瞬间，这是克罗地亚这记绝平球最终被认定越位、进球无效的关键依据。

本届美加墨世界杯启用名为 “三重浪” 的用球，仅由四块球皮缝合而成，其中一块球皮夹层内置惯性测量单元（IMU）芯片，能在数秒内向视频助理裁判传输高精度球体运动数据。这批赛事用球均由国内广东阿迪达斯代工厂生产，是实打实的中国智造产品。

在世界杯的VAR裁判中心，海信自研的RGB-Mini LED进入了核心判罚决策场景。这块屏幕具备超高的色准，搭配精细的控光和AI画质算法。比赛场馆内，粤企艾比森在世界杯主场首次落地中央悬挂式LED漏斗屏。
