On the afternoon of June 23rd, the Award Ceremony for the 3rd Image Possibilities Coproduction Plan (IP Plan) selected projects was held in Shanghai. Among 13,621 submissions from 46 countries, "Zhanjiang: Framed in a sketchbook," jointly submitted by the Publicity Department of the CPC Zhanjiang Municipal Committee and the School of Arts at Sun Yat-sen University, stood out for its distinctive perspective. Zhanjiang-born cartoonist Lin Dihuan (known as "Xiao Lin") invited renowned French illustrator Hervé Dauce to walk along the urban fabric and coastline of Zhanjiang, creating an artistic dialogue that bridges cultures through sketching and painting.

During the filming of Wuchuan Piaose (a traditional floating performance featuring children mounted on decorative frames), director Chen Nie recalled that when seeing children seemingly suspended in mid-air and dragon figures winding along bamboo structures, Hervé Dauce suddenly exclaimed that it reminded him of Les Machines de l'île in Nantes, France, which is a steampunk-inspired cultural park transformed from an old shipyard. "The bamboo frames of Wuchuan and the steel structures of Nantes, the dragons of Piaose and the mechanical birds on the island are separated by 10,000 kilometers, yet respond to the same imagination," he said.

Hervé Dauce praised Zhanjiang and the Leizhou Peninsula as "a truly fertile land of culture and humanity." Originally planning to produce only 20 works, he eventually completed more than 40 pieces. These artworks, embodying a dual Chinese-French resonance, will be exhibited in France and other European countries.

Lin Dihuan said, "We hope that one day our paintings can become a dream for foreign children, inspiring them to visit China, just as we once dreamed of going to France when we saw illustrations of the Eiffel Tower in our childhood."

中法艺术家跨越万里的画笔共鸣：《画本里的湛江》入选国家级计划

6月23日下午，第三届“新时代·新影像”中外联合创作计划入选项目发布仪式在上海举行。在来自46个国家、共计13621个参赛项目中，由中共湛江市委宣传部、中山大学艺术学院联合申报的《画本里的湛江》凭借独特的视角突围：湛江籍漫画家林帝浣（小林老师）邀请法国知名插画家赫维·多斯沿着湛江的城市脉络与海岸线行走，用画笔完成跨越国度的文艺对话。

据导演陈聂分享，拍摄吴川飘色时，当看到孩童凌空而立、龙身在竹架上蜿蜒，赫维·多斯恍然惊呼，这让他想起了法国南特一座由旧造船厂改造的蒸汽朋克乐园——机械岛。“吴川的竹架和南特的钢铁，飘色的龙身和机械岛的飞鸟，相隔一万公里，却回应着同一种想象力。”

赫维·多斯赞美湛江与雷州半岛是“一片真正的人文沃土”。据悉，他原计划只画20张作品，最终完成了40多幅创作。这批凝结了中法双重共鸣的画作将赴法国等欧洲国家展览。

林帝浣表示：“我们希望，我们的画有一天能成为外国小孩子的梦想，让他们向往到中国来，就像我们小时候看埃菲尔铁塔的画想去法国一样。”
