On the morning of June 15^th, two Thai social media influencers—Chaninthorn (known as "@attentionchinese") and Natcha (known as "@ampossible")—visited the Zhongshan Ophthalmic Center (ZOC) of Sun Yat-sen University to experience its international medical services and cutting-edge technologies.

At the international medical clinic, the Thai influencers experienced one-stop medical services covering consultations, examinations, and laboratory tests, along with one-on-one counseling. Natcha was accompanied by her mother, who also serves as her manager. Given her age, Natcha's mother told the doctor that her own eyes tend to feel dry. The doctor immediately performed a dry eye screening using an ocular surface analyzer. Within about 10 minutes, a detailed report was handed to her. Impressed by the efficiency of the examination process, Natcha's mother gave a thumbs-up in praise.

The two influencers also got hands-on experience with a high-precision ophthalmic surgical robot, co-developed by ZOC and Sun Yat-sen University. According to hospital staff, ophthalmic surgery requires extreme precision: the retina is only about 250 micrometers thick, while the natural tremor of a human hand can be 100 micrometers.

"I was really amazed by the surgical robot! I used to think these emerging technologies might interfere with doctors' work or even replace them, but that's not true at all. Since ophthalmic surgery demands such high precision, the robot can actually perform more precisely and steadily than a human hand, which makes it a great assistant to the surgeon," said Natcha.

6月15日上午，两位泰国自媒体博主“@ATTENTIONCHINESE”（本名：林永珪Chaninthorn）、“@AMPOSSIBLE”（本名：Natcha）来到中山大学中山眼科中心，体验国际医疗服务和前沿科技。

在国际医疗门诊区，泰国博主体验了接诊、检查、检验的一站式医疗服务和一对一咨询。与Natcha同行的经纪人也是她的妈妈。由于年龄的原因，她告诉医生，自己的眼睛容易发干。于是，医生现场为她完成基于眼表分析仪的干眼症筛查，大约十分钟后，一份详细的报告就递到了她手中。对于如此高效的检查流程，Natcha的妈妈竖起大拇指称赞。

两位博主还上手体验了中山眼科中心联合中山大学自主研发的高精度眼科手术机器人。医院工作人员介绍，眼科手术极为精细，视网膜厚度通常仅约250微米，而人手生理抖动可达100微米。

“我对手术机器人感到很惊讶！以前我认为这些新兴技术会扰乱医生的工作状态甚至替代医生，但实际并非如此。因为眼科手术需要很高的精度，而手术机器人可能做得比人手更好、更稳定，这样能够辅助医生。”Natcha说。
