On June 12th, the Guangdong Sub-administration of the General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China released trade statistics showing that Guangdong's total imports and exports reached 4.44 trillion yuan in the first five months of the year, up 18.8% year on year. Exports totaled 2.61 trillion yuan, an increase of 10.8%, while imports rose 32.4% to 1.83 trillion yuan.

In the first five months, Guangdong achieved positive trade growth with its top five trading partners—ASEAN, Hong Kong SAR, the European Union, the United States and Taiwan Province of China. As 2026 marks China's APEC year, Guangdong's trade volume with other APEC economies increased by 18.6% during the period, accounting for 65.2% of the province's total foreign trade. Beginning in May, China fully implemented zero-tariff treatment for all African countries with diplomatic ties to China. In the first five months, Guangdong's trade with Africa grew by 23.5%, with imports rising by 23.6%.
As the largest contributor to Guangdong's foreign trade, private enterprises recorded 2.97 trillion yuan in imports and exports in the first five months, making up 66.9% of the province's total. During the same period, foreign-invested enterprises registered imports and exports of 1.32 trillion yuan, up by 13.3%, maintaining sound growth momentum.
In the first five months, Guangdong exported 1.84 trillion yuan of mechanical and electrical products, up 15.1%. Among them, exports of green products such as lithium batteries and electric vehicles continued to expand, rising by 50.3% and 17%, respectively. Exports of emerging products, including 3D printers, digital cameras and drones, grew rapidly, increasing by 120%, 70.7% and 27.7%, respectively.
In the first five months, Guangdong's import growth significantly outpaced export growth. Imports of integrated circuits reached 709.97 billion yuan, while imports of computers and computer parts totaled 254.26 billion yuan. During the same period, imports of high-quality consumer goods, including edible vegetable oil, beef, dairy products and edible aquatic products, increased by 130%, 70.9%, 8.4% and 6.9%, respectively.
广东进出口连续5个月劲增两位数
6月12日,海关总署广东分署公布统计数据:今年前5个月,广东进出口4.44万亿元人民币,同比(下同)增长18.8%。其中,出口2.61万亿元,增长10.8%;进口1.83万亿元,增长32.4%。
前5个月,广东对东盟、中国香港、欧盟、美国、中国台湾等前五大贸易伙伴进出口均实现正增长。今年是“APEC中国年”,前5个月广东对APEC其他经济体进出口增长18.6%,占广东进出口的65.2%。从今年5月份开始,我国对非洲建交国全面实施“零关税”举措。前5个月,广东对非洲进出口增长23.5%,其中进口增长23.6%。
民营企业作为广东第一大外贸主体,前5个月进出口2.97万亿元,占广东进出口总值的66.9%。同期,外商投资企业进出口1.32万亿元,增长13.3%,继续保持良好增长态势。
前5个月,广东出口机电产品1.84万亿元,增长15.1%。其中,锂电池、电动汽车等绿色产品出口规模持续扩大,分别增长50.3%、17%;3D打印机、数字照相机、无人机等新质产品出口增长加快,分别增长1.2倍、70.7%、27.7%。
前5个月,广东进口增速显著高于出口。其中,进口集成电路7099.7亿元,进口电脑及其零部件2542.6亿元。同期,进口食用植物油、牛肉、乳品、食用水产品等优质生活用品分别增长1.3倍、70.9%、8.4%、6.9%。
