The "2025 Guangzhou Transport Development Annual Report" (the Report) was officially released on May 29th. The Report shows that during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport leaped to become the world's largest single-building airport terminal, and the passenger departures at Guangzhou South Railway Station ranked first in China for five consecutive years. Meanwhile, the number of registered electric bicycles grew rapidly, while the passenger volume of regular bus services decreased by 59%.

During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport became the world's largest single airport, with an annual passenger throughput capacity reaching 120 million passengers. In 2025, its passenger throughput reached 83.59 million passengers, ranking ninth globally among single airports. By the end of the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Guangzhou had built eight high-speed railway stations. In 2025, the railway passenger departures reached 139 million passengers, and the departure volume of Guangzhou South Railway Station firmly ranked first across China for five consecutive years.

Guangzhou's position as the core engine of the Greater Bay Area (GBA) has been further consolidated. The average daily travel volume between Guangzhou and the other eight mainland cities of the GBA reached 3.34 million passengers, accounting for nearly half of the total volume, with an increase of 13.8% during the 14th Five-Year Plan period.

The cross-city commuting population between Guangzhou and other GBA cities including Qingyuan reached 634,000, representing an increase of 14.5% during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The Guangzhou-Foshan urban integration is advancing toward full-scale integration, with the daily passenger traffic between Guangzhou and Foshan reaching 1.975 million passengers, showing an increase of 12% during the period. Substantial progress has been made in the high-quality integration of Guangzhou and Qingyuan, as the daily passenger traffic between the two cities grew from 213,000 to 257,000 passengers, marking an increase of 20.7%.

5月29日，《2025年广州市交通发展年度报告》（以下简称《报告》）发布。《报告》显示，“十四五”期间，白云机场跃升为全球最大单体机场，广州南站发送量连续5年居全国第一。与此同时，电动自行车上牌量增长迅猛，常规公交客流下降59%。

“十四五”期间，白云机场成为全球最大单体机场，年旅客吞吐能力达1.2亿人次，2025年旅客吞吐量达8359万人次，单一机场全球排名第九。“十四五”期末广州建成8座高铁站，2025年铁路旅客发送量达1.39亿人次，广州南站发送量连续5年稳居全国第一。

广州在湾区核心引擎的地位进一步巩固。广州与大湾区内地8市之间日均出行量达334万人次，占总量近一半，“十四五”期间增幅达13.8%。

广州与大湾区城市（含清远）跨城通勤人口63.4万人，“十四五”期间增幅14.5%。“广佛同城”向全域同城迈进，广佛之间日交换客流197.5万人次，“十四五”期间增幅12%。广清高质量一体化取得实质性进展，“十四五”期间广清日交换客流由21.3万人次增长至25.7万人次，增幅达20.7%。
