
This weekend, the 22nd China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair (ICIF) continued to draw strong public attention. As the total box office of the film "Dear You" officially surpassed 1 billion yuan on Sunday, online attention once again turned to Guangdong's cultural-industry contingent, which has long focused on quality content, technology, and ecosystem building.

At this year's ICIF, more than 500 leading enterprises from Guangdong's 21 cities, together with Hong Kong and Macao, are exhibiting as a coordinated group under a new model led by chain-leading enterprises and presented through industrial clusters. Together, they showcase a full-spectrum cultural industry chain spanning core technology R&D, original content creation, end-product development, and diverse scenario-based applications.

At the Guangdong Pavilion, an all-star lineup of intelligent robots made a collective appearance. The ROBAN robot made by Leju Robotics danced gracefully to music, while Tencent's "Manju Assistant" can, based on a simple script, automatically complete the entire process of storyboard design, image rendering, and final video editing in just a few minutes.
Today, Guangdong's "new trio" of cultural exports, including games, animation, and online literature and micro-dramas, is leading China's cultural products in reaching global markets and has repeatedly won international recognition. In gaming, Kuro Games' "Wuthering Waves" won the Players' Voice Award at The Game Awards (TGA). In animation, the original animated feature "Into the Mortal World" was selected for the Official Feature Film Competition at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. In online literature and micro dramas, 38 works by China Literature Limited have been added to the collections of the British Library.
Guangdong's global performance is equally impressive. The province accounts for about 40% of China's exports of cultural products and services. With roughly one-sixth of the country's cultural industry scale, it contributes more than one-third of China's exports of physical cultural products, maintaining its position as the national leader in cultural exports.

如今,以游戏、动漫、网文短剧为核心的广东文化“新三样”,已然领跑全国文化出海赛道,频频斩获国际殊荣。游戏领域,库洛科技《鸣潮》斩获TGA国际大奖;动漫领域,原创动画《落凡尘》成功入围法国昂西国际动画节主竞赛单元;网文短剧领域,阅文集团38部作品入藏大英图书馆。
在出海成绩单上,广东实力亮眼:文化产品和服务出口额约占全国40%,以全国约1/6的产业体量,贡献了超全国1/3的实物文化产品出口份额,出海实力稳居全国首位。
