On May 7th, a smart clearance system was officially launched at the joint one-stop vehicle lanes of Hengqin Port. Travelers no longer need to search for travel documents— they simply scan their fingerprints and look at a camera, completing border clearance in just ten seconds. This new measure has further improved clearance efficiency at the port and strengthened connectivity between Hengqin and Macao.

Starting May 7th this year, all 30 joint one-stop lanes at Hengqin Port have started offering a card‑free smart clearance service. This service is available to Macao residents and Hong Kong permanent residents who hold valid Mainland Travel Permits for Hong Kong and Macao Residents (including non-Chinese citizens) and have completed self-service clearance registration in both places; to mainland residents who hold valid Exit-Entry Permits for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao with a valid multiple-entry Macao endorsement and have completed self-service clearance registration in Macao; and to Taiwan residents who hold valid five-year Mainland Travel Permits for Taiwan residents and have completed self-service clearance registration in both places. This enables"one-time registration for long-term document-free clearance." According to tests conducted by the Hengqin Border Inspection Station, the new card-free feature has reduced average vehicle entry processing time by eight seconds and exit processing time by ten seconds, increasing overall clearance efficiency by 10%. Many residents who have tried the service said the process was much simpler and more convenient.

Six years ago, crossing Hengqin Port took an average of eight minutes. Two years ago, with the introduction of joint one-stop lanes, the wait dropped to just 100 seconds. Today, facial recognition enables border clearance in mere seconds. This rapid evolution is transforming the daily commute while marking each milestone of deeper integration between Hengqin and Macao. Smoother and faster crossings are laying a solid foundation for closer industrial cooperation and the development of a unified city cluster.

无需掏证，10秒通关！横琴口岸新升级

5月7日，横琴口岸“联合一站式”车道正式实施“智能通关”。无需翻找证件，轻按指纹、看向镜头，全程仅用10秒便顺利通关。这项新举措再度提升了口岸通行效率，琴澳两地往来愈加紧密。

今年5月7日起，横琴口岸30条联合一站式车道同步启用免刷证智能通关服务，面向持有效《港澳居民来往内地通行证》（含非中国籍）且已完成两地自助通关登记的澳门居民和香港永久居民，持有效《往来港澳通行证》并附多次有效赴澳签注且已完成澳门自助通关登记的内地居民，以及持5年有效《台湾居民来往大陆通行证》且已完成两地自助过关登记的台湾地区居民，实现“一次备案、长期免证”。据横琴边检部门实测，免刷证功能上线后，车辆入境平均节省8秒，出境平均节省10秒，整体通行效率再提10%。许多居民体验后也表示“流程简单很多，非常方便。”

从六年前“两地两检”平均8分钟的等候，到两年前“联合一站式”车道100秒的突破，再到如今刷脸通关的“秒级体验”，横琴口岸用速度改变着跨境通勤族的日常，也见证着琴澳深度融合的每一步。两地通行越来越顺畅，正为琴澳产业联动、同城化建设打下坚实基础。
