From April 21st to 26th, 16 journalists from APEC member economies including Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Chile, Mexico and Peru visited Zhuhai, Shenzhen and Guangzhou to take part in an APEC-themed tour.

At the inspection site of the Air-Land Fresh Lane on the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, the journalist group witnessed an ultra-efficient cold chain logistics model connecting distant regions. From Chilean cherries to Southeast Asian chilled seafood, fresh products can go from customs clearance to dining tables within mere hours. Elias, deputy editor of the business section at Peru's Gestión, expressed great admiration,"We know China is a massive market with a population of over one billion. The development of the Fresh Lane shows that China is increasing investment in relevant infrastructure to improve trade efficiency."

At BYD's global headquarters, the Yangwang U9 supercar's on-the-spot jumping demonstration served as a striking "welcome gesture," instantly energizing the scene. After experiencing what is currently the world's fastest mass-produced all-electric supercar, Elias said,"This is the fastest speed I have ever experienced, an unforgettable moment in my life." Luki Aulia, a journalist from Kompas of Indonesia, asked immediately after her test drive,"Is this car available in Indonesia?"

On the evening of April 25th, at the opening match of the Guangdong City Football Super League, foreign journalists, dressed in red and waving banners, cheered enthusiastically for the players. As a football enthusiast, Luki noted, "The spirit of unity and perseverance conveyed by football mirrors APEC's principles of inclusiveness, cooperation, and mutual benefit."

The year 2026 marks the APEC "China Year", and the upcoming APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting will be held in Shenzhen. Following in-depth field visits and exchanges, foreign journalists reached a consensus that Shenzhen's development features are highly aligned with APEC's three priority areas—openness, innovation and cooperation. The city is fully prepared to host the upcoming APEC event.

Kongkit, a Thai journalist, holds high expectations for the APEC meeting in Shenzhen, hoping that China will inject positive momentum into future global economic cooperation and broader economic trends. "We hope China can play a greater role in advocating trade liberalization, promoting cooperation and easing tensions," he remarked.

期待中国推动合作、消解敌意，为全球经济发展注入积极动能

4月21日至26日，16名来自泰国、印尼、菲律宾、越南、马来西亚、智利、墨西哥、秘鲁等APEC成员经济体的记者到访珠海、深圳、广州，开展APEC主题参访活动。

在港珠澳大桥的“鲜活快线”查验场，记者团见证了一场跨越山海的“极速鲜行”。从智利的车厘子到东南亚的冰鲜鱼，新鲜食材从通关到上桌，流程只需几小时即可完成。秘鲁《经营报》商业版副主编埃利亚斯对此深感兴奋：“因为我们知道中国是一个拥有十几亿人口的大市场，鲜活快线的建设说明中国正在加大对相关基础设施的投入以提升贸易效率。”

在比亚迪全球总部，仰望U9超跑原地弹跳的“欢迎礼”瞬间点燃现场气氛。面对目前全球最快的量产纯电跑车，埃利亚斯试乘后说：“这是我人生中体验过的最快速度！可以说是永生难忘的经历。”印尼《罗盘报》记者卢基·奥莉亚则在试驾后立刻问道：“这台车在印尼卖吗？”

25日晚的粤超联赛揭幕战上，外媒记者身着红色应援服饰、手持横幅，为参赛队员呐喊助威。卢基·奥莉亚是一位足球爱好者，她说：“足球所传递的团结拼搏的体育精神，就像APEC包容协作、互利共赢的合作理念。”

2026年是APEC中国年，今年的APEC领导人非正式会议将在深圳举行。经过深入的参观和了解，外媒记者一致认为，深圳的城市特质与APEC“开放、创新、合作”三大优先领域高度契合，深圳已经为举办本次APEC做好了充分的准备。

功吉对即将在深圳举行的APEC会议寄予厚望，期待中国能为未来的全球经济合作乃至世界经济走势注入积极动能。“希望中国能在维护贸易自由的讨论中发挥更大的作用，推动合作，消解敌意。”
