The second phase of the 139th China Import and Export Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, opened in Guangzhou on April 23rd. Under the theme of "Quality Home Life," this phase spans 515,000 square meters and features 25,000 booths, bringing together more than 10,000 exhibitors across 14 exhibition sections in three major categories: Housewares, Gifts & Decorations, and Building and Furniture. Four new zones have also been set up for Fashion Jewelry, Bamboo and Wooden Tableware, Bamboo and Wooden Home Products, and Prefabricated House and Courtyard Facilities.

Amid the global push to use bamboo as an alternative to plastic and wood, bamboo products are becoming a green key for China's home industry to unlock international markets. Zhang Yong, general manager of Guangdong Guangheyue Construction Technology Co., Ltd., cited a mobile modular kitchen as an example. Comprising 13 modules, the kitchen can be assembled in just three hours with zero construction waste. It has a service life of up to 50 to 60 years, is priced at around 10,000 US dollars per unit, and complies with building standards in North America, Europe and Australia.

Guangdong Songtao Landscape Gardening Co., Ltd., which started out in horticulture, has expanded into art-themed homestay products in recent years amid the boom in the culture and tourism sector. Shen Yufeng, the company's sales manager, shared an impressive case with reporters. An Italian client first got to know the company through the Canton Fair. After several rounds of talks and factory visits, the two sides built a solid partnership. Today, the client has not only become the company's agent in Italy, with full-container orders shipped every month, but has also expressed interest in a joint venture investment. He hopes to take an equity stake in the company, set up a showroom and office in Italy, and develop the entire Italian market.
在广交会,感受“令人心动的生活”
4月23日,第139届中国进出口商品交易会(广交会)第二期在广州开展。本期以“品质家居”为主题,展览面积51.5万平方米,展位2.5万个,集中展示家庭用品、礼品及装饰品、建材及家具3大板块14个展区,参展企业超1万家。其中,新设时尚饰品、竹木餐具、竹木家居用品、集成房屋及庭院设施4个专区。
在“以竹代塑”“以竹代木”的全球环保浪潮下,竹制品正成为中国家居产业撬动国际市场的一把绿色钥匙。广东光禾悦建筑科技有限公司总经理张勇以一间可移动集成式厨房为例介绍道,该厨房拥有13个模块,3小时即可组装成,可以实现无建筑垃圾,使用寿命长达五六十年,单价约1万美元,同时满足北美、欧洲、澳大利亚的建筑标准。
