On March 29th, the five-day 2026 Zhongguancun Forum (ZGC Forum) Annual Conference concluded in Beijing. Themed "Deep Integration of Technological and Industrial Innovation," this year's forum drew over 1,000 guests from more than 100 countries and regions. Participants gathered to discuss sci-tech cooperation, share innovation concepts, and collectively promote the development of new quality productive forces.
Throughout the forum, more than 350 entities showcased over 560 new technologies and products across diverse scientific fields. On the afternoon of March 29th, 21 major scientific and technological achievements were unveiled in a group release. These included five breakthroughs in global sci-tech frontiers, seven targeting the main economic battlefield, four addressing major national development needs, and five focusing on people's life and health. These achievements vividly demonstrate the vitality of technological innovation in driving new quality productive forces.

The trial operation of the High Energy Photon Source (HEPS)marks China's official entry into the "4.0 high-energy era" of synchrotron radiation, spanning the gap from "follower" to "leader." Meanwhile, the "Yuheng" spectrometer chip—the world's first sub-angstrom-level spectral imaging chip—resolves the long-standing trade-off between high resolution and throughput, with a detection efficiency over a hundredfold higher than its international counterparts. Furthermore, the world's first successful trial of deep-sea CO2 hydrate sequestration in ultra-deep water provides a viable new pathway for carbon neutrality. Additionally, China's first shoulder joint replacement surgical robot system was introduced to assist grassroots hospitals in performing complex surgeries, comprehensively elevating the country's overall treatment standards for end-stage shoulder diseases. These successive breakthroughs highlight China's hard-core technological strength and the intrinsic value of "Tech for Good." The conference also featured 60 parallel sessions covering cutting-edge fields such as AI, 6G, and Brain-Computer Interface (BCI)to explore technological innovation and industrial applications.

“高能同步辐射光源”的建成试运行,使我国同步辐射光源正式进入4.0高能时代,实现了从“追随”到“领跑”的跨越;全球首款亚埃米级光谱成像芯片“玉衡”,一举破解光谱成像高分辨率与通量不可兼得的难题,探测效率超越国际同类设备百倍以上;“二氧化碳深海水合物固化封存”技术在超深水完成全球首次试验,为碳中和提供全新可行路径;国内首个肩关节置换手术机器人系统,可助力基层医院开展复杂手术,全面提升我国终末期肩关节疾病的整体治疗水平……一项项成果彰显硬核实力与科技向善价值。本届论坛年会还围绕人工智能、6G、脑机接口等前沿领域,举办60场平行论坛,深入探讨相关领域科技创新和产业应用。
