As the Qingming holiday approaches, primary and secondary schools in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Sichuan and other provinces have aligned their spring holidays seamlessly with the Qingming holiday this year, creating a six-day consecutive vacation. In the travel boom driven by the spring holidays, Guangdong has stood out with particularly strong performance.
Big data from Umetrip shows that Guangzhou and Shenzhen both rank among the top 10 popular domestic destinations for the Qingming holiday, with flight ticket bookings to Guangzhou surging over 60% year on year. In terms of accommodation, data from Qunar reveals that hotel bookings in Guangzhou from April 1st to 6th surged by 1.8 times year on year, leading the country in growth rate.
Theme parks in Guangdong are particularly popular: Guangzhou Chimelong Safari Park and Guangzhou Chimelong International Circus both make the top 10 most popular scenic spots in the same period, and bookings for Hengqin Chimelong International Ocean Culture Tourist Resort also grow markedly. On Tongcheng Travel, themed group tours such as parent-child study tours and museum adventure tours remain hot sellers, with over 60% of families choosing 4-to-5-day itineraries.

Meanwhile, new business formats of the spring economy have emerged in Guangdong. Bijia Mountain in Qingyuan launched the 3rd Huazhao Festival, featuring immersive full-scene NPC interactive experiences. In Shenzhen's Luohu District, the first Grand Wutong "Spring Flower Feast" has introduced a low-altitude sightseeing project offering a "99-yuan helicopter flower-viewing adventure", extending the ticket economy into a high-value-added consumption chain covering high-end general aviation and premium accommodation. Foshan kicked off a nationwide dragon boat rally, where 46 dragon boat teams from the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area compete together, alongside a "Longxu Market" cultural and creative food market.

清明小长假降至,广州酒店预订增1.8倍
清明假期将至,今年江苏、浙江、四川等省份中小学春假与清明假期无缝衔接,形成长达6天的连休假期。春假主导的出游热潮中,广东表现亮眼。
航旅纵横大数据显示,清明假期国内热门目的地榜单中,广州、深圳双双跻身前十,其中广州机票预订量同比增长超60%。酒店方面,去哪儿旅行数据显示,4月1日至6日,广州酒店预订量同比激增1.8倍,增幅领跑全国。
在广东,主题乐园热度尤为突出:同期最热门景区前十中,广州长隆野生动物世界、广州长隆国际大马戏双双上榜,珠海长隆度假区预订热度同样增长显著。同程旅行平台上,亲子研学、博物馆奇遇等主题跟团游持续热销,超60%家庭选择4天至5天行程。
与此同时,广东春日经济新业态涌现。清远笔架山启动第三届花朝月活动,打造全场景NPC互动体验;深圳罗湖区首届大梧桐“春花宴”推出“99元体验直升机赏花”的低空观光项目,将门票经济延展为涵盖高端通航、精品住宿的高附加值消费链条。佛山启动全国龙舟大联动,46支粤港澳大湾区龙舟队伍同场竞技,同步打造“龙墟盛市”文创美食市集。
