On March 20th, China's second domestically built large cruise ship, Adora Flora City, was successfully undocked at Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC). The vessel will next speed up interior outfitting and system commissioning, with delivery scheduled by the end of the year. It will then launch international routes from Guangzhou's Nansha International Cruise Home Port.

Compared with China's first domestically built large cruise ship, Adora Magic City, Adora Flora City is larger, greener, and more intelligent. Its gross tonnage has increased by 6,400 tons to 141,900 tons, while its overall length has been extended by 17.4 meters to 341 meters. It is equipped with two additional exhaust gas cleaning systems (scrubbers) and a selective catalytic reduction system, making operations more environmentally friendly. AI elements will also be integrated into the ship's intelligent control systems and public cabin spaces to enrich the passenger experience. Compared with the first vessel, its localization rate of supporting components has risen by 5 percentage points, while the construction period was shortened by eight months.

Named after Guangzhou's nickname, the "City of Flowers", the cruise ship incorporates Lingnan cultural elements, symbolizing a vibrant floating city of flowers. "The successful undocking marks a key step toward delivery and operation. As the fleet continues to expand, Adora Flora City will provide stronger capacity support for the regular operation of multiple home ports," said a representative from Adora Cruises.

第二艘国产大型邮轮出坞

3月20日，第二艘国产大型邮轮“爱达·花城号”（Adora Flora City）在中国船舶集团上海外高桥造船有限公司顺利出坞。接下来，该船将加速推进内装与系统调试，计划于年底前交付，并在广州南沙国际邮轮母港投入国际航线运营。

与首艘国产大型邮轮“爱达·魔都号”相比，“爱达·花城号”更大、更绿色、更智能：其总吨位增加0.64万吨达14.19万吨，总长增加17.4米达341米；新增两套脱硫塔和选择性催化还原系统，让航行更加环保；还将在整船的智能控制系统和船舱的公共空间里融入AI元素，丰富旅客的体验场景。在国产化配套率方面，其较首制船提高了5个百分点，且建造周期缩短了8个月。

这艘大型邮轮以广州别称“花城”命名，深度植入岭南文化元素，寓意如同一座富有生机的流动花城。“顺利出坞，是迈向交付与运营的重要一步。随着船队规模扩大，‘爱达·花城号’将为多母港常态化运营提供更坚实的运力保障。”爱达邮轮方面表示。
