This weekend, the 2026 Guangdong City Basketball League (YueBA) will officially kick off. On the evening of Saturday, March 21st, the opening game will take place at the Guangzhou Tianhe Sports Center Gymnasium, as Guangzhou takes on Zhongshan. On Sunday evening, the remaining nine matches of the first round of the regular season will be held simultaneously.

According to reports, the YueBA opening game will be the first encounter between Guangzhou and Zhongshan. The Guangzhou team comprises players from all walks of life. Head coach Ji Le is a former CBA player who recently led his team to a gold medal at the Mass Participation Events of the 15th National Games.

Zhongshan has consistently reached the top four in the YueBA in recent years. Player Gao Yufeng won the championship of the CUBAL men's first division, representing the Guangdong University of Technology men's basketball team. Players Li Yanjun and Yuan Jinyao helped the Zhongshan Shaxi team win the national "Village BA" championship. Head coach Feng Hanyuan was a championship-winning head coach of the national "Village BA" tournament.

According to the schedule, the 2026 Guangdong City Basketball League will stage 125 matches throughout the season and run until August. The first phase (regular season) includes 100 matches in a home-and-away single round-robin format by division, with pairings arranged in the snake seeding system based on the draw.Regular season tickets are priced at 8.8 yuan and 18.8 yuan. Spectators may register for the ticket lottery via the WeChat official account "Guangdong Basketball – YueBA".

During the event, Guangdong will distribute exclusive "Taste Guangdong" dining vouchers to ticket holders for instant in-store discounts. In addition, digital ticket stubs can be used to enjoy discounts on dining, shopping, accommodation and scenic spot admissions across Guangdong.

“粤BA”本周六正式打响

这个周末，2026年广东省城市篮球联赛（粤BA）将正式打响。3月21日（周六）晚，揭幕战在广州天河体育中心体育馆进行，由广州队对阵中山队。3月22日（周日）晚，常规赛首轮较量的剩余9场比赛同步上演。

据悉，此次粤BA揭幕战是广州队与中山队的“遭遇战”。广州队的队员来自各行各业。主帅季乐是前CBA球员，不久前带队拿下十五运会群众组金牌。

中山队近年在粤BA中屡次进入四强。其中，队员高宇锋曾代表广东工业大学男篮斩获CUBAL一级联赛冠军，队员李衍均、袁锦耀曾帮助中山沙溪队斩获“村BA”全国大赛冠军；主教练冯汉远更是“村BA”全国大赛的冠军教头。

根据赛程安排，2026年广东省城市篮球联赛整个赛季共进行125场比赛，将持续至8月。第一阶段常规赛共100场比赛，采用分区主客场单循环，根据抽签落位，蛇形编排对阵。常规赛阶段的票价分为8.8元和18.8元两档，观众可在“广东篮球-粤BA”公众号预约摇号购票。

赛事期间，广东将为购票观众定向派送“食在广东”餐饮消费券，到店消费立享优惠、即来即享。另外，“观赛票根”也是“省钱钥匙”，观众可持电子票根在粤享受餐饮、购物、住宿、景区门票等折扣服务。
