On March 18th, the three-day 5th China Chaoshan International Textile and Garment Exhibition (CTGE) opened at the Shantou International Convention and Exhibition Center.

As China's first major exhibition of the year in the intimate apparel sector, this grand event, designed to bring together global textile and garment industry resources, was held under the theme of "Five Continents Gather in Chaoshan". At the venue spanning more than 150,000 square meters, it brought together over 1,200 exhibitors from more than 40 countries and regions, 21 major industrial clusters, and over 140,000 professional buyers. At the opening ceremony, more than 50 domestic and international buyers reached initial procurement agreements with enterprises from Shantou's industrial clusters, with intended deals totaling 19.82 billion yuan.

After more than four decades of development and accumulation, Shantou has transformed from a traditional textile and garment manufacturing base into one of the world's core regions with the most complete industry chain, the most efficient supply chain, and the highest concentration of supporting industries. It has built a fully integrated, digitalized, and modernized industrial ecosystem within a 50-kilometer radius, from the petroleum feedstock and yarn to finished branded garments.

Since the beginning of this year, Shantou's textile and garment industry has leveraged the momentum of the "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" campaign, participating in exhibitions in Paris and other global markets and partnering with Charoen Pokphand Group to expand distribution across Southeast Asia. It is embracing the global market with a more open stance.

五洲共潮起 一展链全球

3月18日，为期三天的第五届潮汕国际纺织服装博览会（以下简称“潮汕服博会”）在汕头国际会展中心拉开帷幕。

作为中国贴身服饰领域的开年首展，这场链接全球纺织服装产业资源的盛会以“五洲共潮”为主题，在超过15万平方米的展馆内，汇聚了来自全球40多个国家和地区的超1200家展商、21大产业集群及14万余名专业买家。开幕活动现场，50多家国内外采购商与汕头产业集群的多家企业达成了首批共计198.2亿元的意向采购合作。

历经40余年发展与沉淀，汕头从传统的纺织服装制造业基地，跃升为全球纺织服装产业链最完整、供应链最高效、产业配套最集中的核心区域之一，构筑了50公里范围内从一滴石油、一缕纱线到一件品牌成衣的全链条、数字化、现代化产业生态。

今年以来，汕头纺织服装产业搭乘“广货行天下”的东风，远赴法国巴黎等地参展，牵手正大集团铺货远销东南亚地区，以更开放的姿态拥抱世界。
