The debut show of the 2026 Swatow Fashion Week will take place at 8 p.m. on March 16^th in the port-opening area of Shantou Small Park. This grand show aims to transcend traditional fashion show boundaries, integrating rich intangible cultural heritage, iconic historical architecture, strong industrial strength, and a global brand perspective.

For the show, the century-old Qilou (arcade buildings) Old Street will transform into a dreamlike runway. Traditional lanterns will intertwine with modern light shows, as Shantou's vibrant fashion scene takes center stage against the night sky, collectively presenting a renewed vision for this "century-old commercial port."

This is an immersive Eastern fashion event that combines a cultural root-seeking journey tracing back to the "origins" with a showcase of industrial strength anchored in the same origins. Audiences will not only experience the historical significance of Small Park as the birthplace of the commercial port, but also witness the vibrant dynamism of Shantou's modern textile and garment industry.

For fashion enthusiasts, this event offers an exclusive sneak peek. Before the official opening of the 5^th CTGE, the public can get a first look at the stunning collections from the opening show, preview the soon-to-launch new collections, and get a glimpse of next season's fashion trends.

Meanwhile, this event also serves as a fashionable showcase of the industry's "rebirth." Forty professional models from home and abroad will walk through the Qilou Old Street in conceptual show outfits, showcasing the profound transformation of Shantou's textile and garment industry from "manufacturing" to "creation." They will form a truly unique moving spectacle against the evening backdrop.

The event is free and open to the public, with 100 inner field seats available by reservation.

2026汕头时装周首秀将于3月16日20时空降小公园开埠历史文化街区。据悉，这场大秀旨在打破传统秀场边界，将厚重的非遗、标志性的历史建筑、雄厚的产业实力与国际化的品牌视野融为一体。

届时，百年骑楼老街将化身梦幻T台，传统花灯将与现代光影交相辉映，鮀城霓裳在夜空下舞动，共同呈现“百载商埠”的焕新景象。

这是一场“溯源头”的文化寻根与“看源头”的产业实力展示相结合的沉浸式东方时尚发布。观众不仅能在此感受到小公园作为商埠发源地的历史厚重，更能直观对比出现代汕头纺织服装产业迸发的时尚活力。
