Standing here in the spring, 

I think back to five years ago.

Over the past five years,

I have journeyed to many places.

In the alleys of Yongqing Fang,

I hear the ancient Cantonese tunes echo anew.

Under the lights of smart factories,

I see gentle dreams taking shape in solid steel.

Drones fly over the sea-crossing bridge.

Wind turbines stand tall above the blue waves.

It turns out that every effort

can grow into what it was meant to be.

The high-speed trains heading north thread through the Nanling Mountains.

Every piece of land

is quietly telling

the stories of the past five years.

From Guangzhou to Beijing,

a journey of over 2,000 kilometers.

From 2021 to 2026,

five years have passed.

I stand here

and spring has arrived right on time.

Another season of kapok blossoms.

Another brand-new spring.
