On February 11th, the orthopedic surgical robot with the originally developed HX Orthopedic-Specific Robotic Arm was successfully put into operation for the first time. The procedure was performed by the orthopedic team at West China Hospital of Sichuan University using the system developed independently by Yuanhua Orthopedic Robotics Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Shenzhen-based Yuanhua Robotics, Perception and AI Technologies Ltd. Notably, this marks China's first fully self-developed orthopedic surgical robot with a completely domestically controlled supply chain.

According to the developers, the arm is the first fully self-developed robotic arm designed specifically for orthopedic surgical applications, addressing precision requirements in procedures such as joint replacement, spine and trauma surgeries. After two years of research and development, the team achieved breakthroughs in key technologies, including high-precision zero-gravity compensation, compliance control and tactile feedback. Multiple orthopedic experts were invited by the team to participate in testing and optimization, with the design repeatedly adjusted to meet clinical needs.

In this procedure, the robot demonstrated strong stability and usability, assisting the orthopedic team at West China Hospital of Sichuan University in successfully performing a robot-assisted left total knee arthroplasty on a 66-year-old patient.

我国首款完全自主研发机械臂骨科手术机器人“上岗”

2月11日，由深圳本土企业元化智能全资子公司——骨圣元化机器人（深圳）有限公司自主研发的HX自研机械臂骨科手术机器人，在四川大学华西医院骨科团队的使用下，顺利完成了首次“上岗”。值得一提的是，这也是我国首款完全自主研发、全链条国产可控的HX自研机械臂骨科手术机器人。

据介绍，该机器人搭载的机械臂是全国首个针对骨科手术应用场景完全自主研发的专用机械臂，聚焦关节置换、脊柱、创伤等手术的精准化需求。研发团队通过两年的研发攻关，突破了高精度零重力补偿、柔顺控制和触觉反馈等关键技术。研发团队还邀请多位骨科专家参与测试优化，针对临床需求反复调整设计。

此次，该机器人表现出的稳定性与实用性，助力四川大学华西医院骨科团队为一位66岁的患者成功实施了机器人辅助下的左侧全膝关节置换术。

据了解，骨科手术机器人领域长期面临核心技术挑战，HX自研机械臂骨科手术机器人展现出“中国制造”在高端医疗设备自主创新方面的强劲动能，也为更多基层医院提供了高质量医疗服务的可能性。
