In early 2026, the Valorant Champions Tour CN 2026 (V26 Tour) made Guangzhou its first stop, presenting an immersive V26 Tour Chinese New Year experience that brought together top-tier competitions, trendsetting parties, audiovisual spectacles, and citywide check-in spots for both residents and visitors.

The event posted striking figures. During its run, Guangzhou accumulated more than 93 million total views and over 2 billion online engagements. As a core city in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Guangzhou leveraged esports as a connective force to drive joint upgrades in cultural tourism, commerce, and consumption, achieving deep integration between new business formats and new consumer trends.

From February 6th to 8th, the "Huashi Kaiwa" themed party, in collaboration with the Haizhu Flower Market, was held at the West Square, Canton Tower. For the first time, the 2/F Pearl River Outdoor Plaza of Canton Tower was opened for a large-scale activity that blended Guangfu culture with gaming elements. Interactive activities included photo-taking, prize draws, and target-shooting games, while traditional Chinese New Year customs such as lion dance and riddle guessing games were interwoven with esports exhibition matches and community matches. Celebrity guests including Ouyang Didi and Mike Tsang added to the lineup, and popular actor Zhang Linghe made his esports debut while sampling Guangfu cuisine and culture. The event drew huge crowds on-site.

The event also expanded beyond a single venue. A themed cruise sailed along the Pearl River, while landmarks including the Canton Tower and Liede Bridge were illuminated with themed lighting displays to create a spectacular "One River, Two Banks" nightscape. The VALORANT SOUND LIVE delivered a naked-eye 3D audiovisual show. Organizers launched a citywide check-in mini-program that partnered with time-honored brands such as Guangzhou Restaurant and popular city landmarks, driving an estimated 1.205 million visits to partner merchants and a 10 percent boost in revenue.

On the competitive front, the VALORANT Champions Tour CN Kickoff 2026 began on January 22nd, culminating in finals held from February 7th to 9th, with AG, XLG, and EDG securing the top three spots and earning the right to compete at the VALORANT Masters Santiago 2026. The tournament drew over 20,000 on-site spectators and kept trending online, establishing itself as a successful pilot rolling out the tour end-to-end.

2026年年初,V26无畏契约城市巡回首站落地广州,打造集顶尖赛事、潮流派对、视听盛宴、全城打卡于一体的“无畏巡回”新春活动,为市民与游客带来沉浸式活力体验。
活动数据亮眼,其间广州累计用户曝光超9300万人次,线上总曝光超20亿。作为粤港澳大湾区核心城市,广州以电竞为纽带,推动文旅、商业、消费联动升级,实现新业态与新消费的深度融合。
2月6日至8日,广州塔西广场联动海珠花市举办“花式开瓦”主题派对,广州塔二层珠江观景平台首次开放大型活动,融合广府文化与游戏元素,推出合影、抽签、射击等互动玩法,醒狮、猜瓦谜等传统年俗与表演赛、水友赛轮番上演,欧阳娣娣、曾比特等嘉宾助阵,人气演员张凌赫完成电竞首秀,并体验广府美食与文化,现场人气爆棚。
活动突破场地限制,主题游轮巡游珠江,广州塔、猎德大桥等地标点亮主题灯光,构筑“一江两岸”夜景;“VALORANT SOUND音脉共振LIVE”带来裸眼3D视听盛宴。官方推出城市打卡小程序,联动广州酒家等老字号及热门地标,带动合作商户客流120.5万人次,营收增长10%。
竞技方面,VCT CN联赛启点赛于1月22日开赛,2月7日至9日迎来决赛,AG、XLG、EDG斩获前三,将出征圣地亚哥大师赛。赛事吸引超两万人次线下观赛,线上热搜不断,成为城市巡回全环节落地的成功试点。
