At 2:00 PM on February 4th, a festive atmosphere filled the Guangdong Olympic Sports Center South Square as the "Greater Bay Chick" Olympic Carnival, jointly created by Tianhe District and Guangzhou Culture Group, officially began its trial operation. On the opening day, the carnival attracted enthusiastic crowds and constant cheers, quickly becoming a new focal point for cultural and tourism consumption during the Chinese New Year in the Flower City Guangzhou. The strong turnout demonstrated Tianhe District's proactive efforts and innovative vitality in promoting cultural-tourism integration within the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA).

At the scene, the GBA's fan-favorite "Greater Bay Chick" appeared on stage with 22 adorable costumed characters, engaging warmly with residents. The original Aoyu fish figure from the opening ceremony of the 15th National Games was also on display, evoking local sports memories and pride in Lingnan culture. Visitors streamed through the venue throughout the day, creating a lively scene that reflected the theme of "cultural and tourism integration, fun for all."

Within the carnival grounds, attractions such as a 10-meter-tall inflatable "Greater Bay Chick", a 6-meter-tall photo wall, and a National Games cultural exhibition zone skilfully integrated Tianhe District's regional characteristics, National Games heritage, and the Chinese New Year atmosphere. These features showcased Tianhe's cultural inclusiveness and innovative energy as Guangzhou's City Living Room.

The carnival brings together a variety of entertainment formats, including amusement rides, a dome cinema, parent-child interaction, food markets, and cultural and creative retail, offering residents a one-stop destination for joyful family experiences during the holiday. At the same time, the smart operating model of "online reservations, free admission, and attractions priced on a pay-as-you-play basis" enhances both visitor experience and consumer convenience.
广州文旅新地标!大湾鸡奥体嘉年华首日开园人气爆棚
2月4日14时,广州奥林匹克体育中心南侧一片欢腾,由天河区与广州文化集团联合打造的大湾鸡奥体嘉年华正式开启试营业。开园首日,现场人气高涨,欢声不断,迅速成为花城新春文旅消费的新热点,彰显出天河区在粤港澳大湾区文旅融合中的主动作为与创新活力。
开园现场,“湾区萌主”大湾鸡携22只憨萌人偶组团亮相,与市民亲切互动;第十五届全运会开幕式原版鳌鱼震撼入驻,唤起城市体育记忆与岭南文化自豪;整个现场游客络绎不绝,热闹非凡,展现出一幅“文旅融合、全民同乐”的美好画卷。
园区内10米高大湾鸡气模、6米巨幅打卡墙、全运文化展示区等设计,巧妙融合了天河区位特色、全运遗产与新春氛围,展现出天河区作为广州城市客厅的文化包容性与创新活力。
