As China's only pilot city for comprehensive reform in manufacturing transformation and upgrading, Foshan delivered an impressive final report for the 14th Five-Year Plan period. Its economic aggregate leapt across three consecutive 100-billion-yuan thresholds. Remarkable progress has been made in the digital transformation of manufacturing, with ten 100-billion-yuan-level industrial clusters and over 10,000 industrial enterprises above the designated size. As many as 78.7% of these enterprises implemented digital transformation, laying a solid foundation for high-quality development during the 15th Five-Year Plan period.

In Foshan, almost every town has its own distinctive industrial cluster, such as ceramics in Nanzhuang, furniture in Lecong, and aluminum products in Dali. In response to digital transformation, Foshan took the lead in Guangdong in introducing 25 policies for "intelligent and digital transformation." By the end of 2025, the city had cultivated two national "Digital Navigation" enterprises, three "Lighthouse Factories," 73 demonstration factories, and 198 demonstration workshops.

The industrial robotics sector has surged to prominence. Beyond leading enterprises like Huashu Robot, Foshan is also home to over 3,000 small and medium-sized supporting enterprises in the robotics supply chain, forming a comprehensive industrial chain. From January to October 2025, Foshan's output of industrial robots reached 38,000 units, meaning that one out of every 14 industrial robots produced nationwide was made in Foshan.

Emerging industries are gathering momentum. Foshan has built the Fobei Zhanxin Industrial Park to high standards, introducing a batch of major projects worth tens of billions of yuan. In 2025, the city attracted 34 projects in the new electricity system equipment, with a total contracted investment of 23.02 billion yuan, steadily advancing toward its goal of establishing a 100-billion-yuan industrial cluster by 2027.

佛山：“制造重镇”韧性犹在 “智造新城”新篇已开

作为全国唯一的制造业转型升级综合改革试点城市，佛山交出了一份令人瞩目的“十四五”收官答卷：经济总量连跨3个千亿台阶。制造业数字化转型成效显著，全市千亿级产业集群达到10个，规上工业企业突破1万家，78.7%的规上工业企业实施数字化转型，为“十五五”高质量发展奠定了坚实基础。

在佛山，几乎每个镇都有独特的特色产业集群：南庄的陶瓷、乐从的家具、大沥的铝材。面对数字化转型，佛山在全省率先出台“智改数转”25条政策。截至2025年底，佛山打造了2家国家“数字领航”企业、3家“灯塔工厂”、73家示范工厂和198个示范车间。

工业机器人产业异军突起。除华数机器人等龙头企业引领外，佛山还有3000多家中小机器人配套企业，形成了完备产业链。2025年1-10月佛山工业机器人产量达到3.8万套，全国每14台中有1台佛山造。

新兴产业集聚成势。佛山高标准建设佛北战新产业园，引入了一批百亿级重大项目。2025年，佛山先后引进新型电力系统装备产业项目34个，签约投资总额230.21亿元，朝着2027年建成千亿产业集群的目标稳步迈进。
