The Year of the Horse Spring Festival is just a month away. On many consumers' holiday shopping lists are a few useful"new smart gadgets"—perhaps an artificial intelligence (AI) air conditioner that understands spoken commands, a smart robotic vacuum cleaner, or a small coffee maker. These smart devices are not only hot sellers across China but have also won countless fans in Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, and Africa.

After decades of development, China's home appliance industry has transformed from a latecomer to a global leader, and from traditional manufacturing to smart manufacturing. Today, one out of every two color TVs and one out of every three air conditioners worldwideare"Made in Guangdong," while the scale of the smart home appliance industry in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area accounts for nearly 30% of the global market.

On January 15th, the "Guangdong Goods Global Reach" Spring Edition kicked off in Foshan, with home appliances taking the lead.

Currently, Guangdong covers all 31 national manufacturing categories, with 15 ranking first in scale nationwide. Smart home appliances have grown into a trillion-yuan industrial cluster. From January to November 2025, Guangdong's home appliance exports reached 303.35 billion yuan, accounting for nearly half of the national total.

In Gree Electric Appliances' pioneering smart factory, 86 production processes are fully automated, improving production efficiency by 200%. Over more than 40 years, Guangdong's home appliance industry has proven that only by keeping core technologies and production capabilities in its own hands can it advance instead of retreating amid the waves of global competition.

Meanwhile, AI is evolving from cold algorithms into the "modern butlers" embedded in"Guangdong-made home appliances" that understand daily life and even human emotions. For example, saying "It's too hot" will trigger the air conditioner to adjust the temperature automatically. This kind of human-machine interaction is a vivid example of how Guangdong technology aligns with human needs and continues to win people's hearts.

“粤家电”靠什么畅行全球40年？

再过一个月就是马年春节。消费者的年货清单里，少不了几件趁手的“新神器”——也许是一台能听懂人话的AI空调，一个智能扫地机器人，一台煮咖啡小家电。这些“新神器”不仅在中国热销，更在万里之外的欧洲、美洲、中东、非洲“圈粉”无数。

历经多年风雨洗礼，我国家电产业已实现从“跟跑”到“领跑”、从“制造”到“智造”的跨越。其中，全球每2台彩电、每3台空调中，就有1台是“广东造”，粤港澳大湾区智能家电产业规模约占全球近30%。

1月15日，“广货行天下”春季行动在佛山启幕，家电专场率先亮相。

目前，广东拥有全部31个制造业大类，其中15个规模居全国首位，智能家电更是万亿级产业集群。2025年1-11月，广东家电出口额达3033.5亿元，占全国份额近半。

走进格力电器的“领航级”智能工厂，86道工序全自动化，生产效率提升200%。广东家电用40多年的实践证明：只有把饭碗端在自己手里，才能在风浪中不退反进。

而AI也正从冰冷的算法变成“粤家电”里懂生活、懂情绪的“现代管家”。比如，说一句“好热”，空调自动调节温度。这种自然交互，正是广货科技向善、赢得“人和”的生动体现。
