On December 25th, the 2025 Conference on High-Quality Development of Low-Altitude Economy in the GBA, China's first high-level event dedicated to the low-altitude economy in the GBA, was held in Guangzhou.

Guided by the proposals for the 15th Five-Year Plan, the low-altitude economy has been identified as one of China's strategic emerging industrial clusters for accelerated development. Leveraging its strengths in diverse application scenarios, comprehensive industrial support systems, and well-established market mechanisms, the GBA is jointly forging a highland for the development of the low-altitude economy.　

Data show that Guangdong is home to more than 30% of the country's low-altitude industry chain enterprises, with the number totaling around 15,000, including leading enterprises such as DJI, EHang, and Xpeng Aridge. In 2024, the province produced 6.94 million civil drones, ranking first nationwide.

At the conference,two comprehensive service platforms to manage low-altitude flights at the Guangdong provincial and Guangzhou municipallevels were launched. The second batch of five pilot platforms in the low-altitude sector in Guangdong was officially designated, while key industrial chain enterprises such as Wanfeng Auto Holding Group Co., Ltd. unveiled their latest whole aircraft and engine products.

During the event, low-altitude industry authorities, leading enterprises, and industry associations from multiple regions within the GBA, including Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou, and Zhuhai, signed agreements on several projects.

2025粤港澳大湾区低空经济高质量发展大会举行

12月25日，我国首个聚焦大湾区低空经济的高规格盛会——2025粤港澳大湾区低空经济高质量发展大会在广州举行。

根据“十五五”规划建议，低空经济被列为我国加快发展的战略性新兴产业集群之一。粤港澳大湾区依托应用场景丰富、产业配套齐全、市场机制完备等优势，正携手打造低空经济产业发展高地。　

数据显示，广东集聚中国30％以上低空产业链企业，数量达1.5万家，包括大疆创新、亿航智能、小鹏汇天等头部企业；2024年民用无人机产量694万架，位居全国第一。

会上，广东省低空飞行综合管理服务平台、广州市低空飞行综合管理服务平台推出；广东省第二批5个低空领域中试平台正式授牌；产业链重点企业万丰集团最新整机和发动机产品亮相等。

现场，香港、澳门、广州、珠海等粤港澳大湾区多个城市低空产业主管单位、重点企业、行业协会达成项目签约。
