On November 25th, a press conference was held in Guangzhou to introduce the "Explore Guangdong" digital travel maps, a collection of themed maps integrating Guangdong's premium cultural tourism and natural landscape resources. Now available on Amap, the maps form a key measure under the "Enjoy the Warm Winter in Guangdong" campaign.

The campaign will run from November 2025 to the end of March 2026, featuring four major events, five themed brands and six special benefits. It aims to create an immersive, panoramic cultural and tourism experience. By searching "乐游广东" in Amap or scanning the QR code, users can directly access the platform and browse seven themed sections: museums, libraries, cultural centers, art galleries, scenic attractions, nature reserves, and botanical gardens, each offering detailed venue information.

Powered by big data and AI technologies, the maps upgrade the service model from users looking for services to services being delivered proactively. They also integrate supporting options such as dining and accommodation, offering a one-stop travel experience. Each thematic map provides tailored services such as exhibition recommendations, audio guides, venue search and event highlights. The platform features 61 national second-grade museums, 93 national first-class libraries, 93 national first-class cultural centers, 24 national key art museums, as well as 100 tourist attractions rated 4A and above, 30 nature reserves and 20 botanical gardens, covering a wide range of cultural and tourism offerings to meet warm-winter travel needs.

By leveraging digital tools to break down resource barriers, the maps make cultural and tourism resources visible, services accessible and discounts easy to claim. They offer convenient guidance for residents and visitors exploring the highlights of Lingnan culture, while injecting new vitality into Guangdong's cultural and tourism market.
