On November 3rd, Guangzhou once again took the global spotlight as the 2025 Global Investment Promotion Conference for the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) kicked off. This marks the fourth consecutive year of this high-profile event.

Looking back, the three previous conferences have collectively secured 3,645 investment and trade projects, with a total investment and trade value of 7 trillion yuan. Among these, 92 projects were valued at over 10 billion yuan. A total of 465 Fortune Global 500 companies have gathered here, including globally renowned names such as Siemens Healthineers, CNOOC and Shell Petrochemicals Company Limited, and ZF Friedrichshafen AG. These industry leaders have not only brought substantial investments but also advanced technologies, management expertise, and global perspectives.

At this year's conference, Guangdong officially released the "Guangdong Provincial Industrial Investment Promotion Map", which systematically outlines the province's fundamental conditions, industrial clusters, and key resource support systems, providing comprehensive investment guidance for global enterprises looking to establish a presence in Guangdong.

From January to September 2025, the province saw the establishment of 24,000 new foreign-invested enterprises, a year-on-year increase of 33.7%. Actual use of foreign capital reached 78.13 billion yuan, up 8.8% year-on-year, a growth rate that stood out among China's major provincial economies.

Martin Poxton, Executive Vice President of ASSA ABLOY Group and Head of Greater China and South East Asia at ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions, attributed Guangdong's appeal to its highly efficient and comprehensive supply chain system, which enables over 95% of industrial components to be sourced locally. In his view, Guangdong is a world-leading innovation hub, home to industry-leading enterprises such as Huawei, Tencent, and DJI, forming a global nexus for sci-tech innovation enterprises. Coupled with substantial R&D investments and a dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystem, Guangdong continues to lead the global sci-tech development trend.

2025粤港澳大湾区全球招商大会诚邀全球企业布局广东

11月3日，广州再次成为世界瞩目的焦点——2025粤港澳大湾区全球招商大会在此启幕。这已是这一高规格盛会连续第4年举办。

回望来时路，三届大会累计签约投资和贸易项目3645个，达成投资和贸易金额7万亿元，其中超百亿元项目92个；累计465家世界500强企业在此汇聚。西门子医疗、中海壳牌、采埃孚……这些世界级的名字，不仅带来了巨额投资，更带来了先进技术、管理经验和全球化的视野。

本届大会，广东省正式发布《广东省产业招商地图》，系统梳理了全省基本情况、产业集聚现状和要素保障体系，为有意布局广东的全球企业提供全方位投资指引。

今年1-9月，全省新设外商投资企业2.4万家，同比增长33.7%；实际使用外资金额781.3亿元人民币，同比增长8.8%，增速在主要经济大省中位居前列。

“广东拥有高效且完整的供应链体系，95%以上的工业零部件都能实现本地化采购。”亚萨合莱集团执行副总裁、大中华区及东南亚区总裁马丁分享了他眼中的“广东引力”，在他看来，广东是世界领先的创新中心，这里汇聚了华为、腾讯、大疆等行业巨头，形成了全球科创企业枢纽，再加上巨额的研发投入与活跃的创业生态，广东正持续引领全球科技发展方向。
