On October 28th, the 2025 International Agricultural Services Trade Conference opened grandly at the Guangzhou Nansha International Convention and Exhibition Center, aiming to build a high‑end platform for global dialogue and cooperation in agricultural services trade and to promote in-depth integration and innovative development of global agricultural industrial chain, supply chain, and value chain.

As one of the "star sectors" of Nansha's agricultural opening‑up, the International Ornamental Fish Pavilion fully demonstrates the district's transformation from one of Guangdong's first 1-billion‑yuan modern agricultural industrial clusters into an world-class ornamental fish import and export industrial hub. The Guangzhou Qingqing Ziran Agricultural Development Co., Ltd.—China's largest tropical small ornamental fish breeding base—has already exported products to Europe and the United States. Meanwhile, Singaporean enterprise South Island Aquarium, which is developing a freshwater ornamental fish trade base in Nansha, is accelerating operations. Together, they form a dual‑driven industrial pattern of "bringing in" and "going global."

Leveraging the advantages of South China's largest comprehensive hub port, Nansha has opened more than 170 international shipping routes. Its container throughput consistently ranks among the world's top for single port areas. It has also become China's largest seaborne import port for durians and cherries, with cumulative unloading import volumes of 450,000 tons and 300,000 tons, respectively. In addition, Nansha serves as South China's largest grain distribution center, where the cumulative unloading volume of imported grain exceeds 10 million tons. Its highly efficient logistics network makes freshness within easy reach—imported fruits and frozen meat unloaded at Nansha Port can reach major markets across the Guangdong‑Hong Kong‑Macao Greater Bay Area within two hours.

As a key project in Nansha's national pilot zone for agricultural opening‑up and cooperation, the International Pet Community has been developed according to international standards. It integrates animal diagnosis and treatment, pet grooming salons, health product retail, cutting‑edge clinical research, and government public services to create a comprehensive pet‑care system covering the entire life cycle. The community also features a dedicated recreational and interactive zone, serving as an "emotional exchange space" connecting pet lovers from around the world.

看广州农业的“国际范”！国际农业服贸会今天在南沙开幕

10月28日，2025年国际农业服务贸易大会在广州市南沙国际会展中心盛大开幕，旨在搭建全球农业服务贸易的高端对话与合作平台，推动全球农业产业链、供应链和价值链的深度融合与创新发展。

作为南沙农业对外开放的“明星板块”，“国际观赏鱼”展区全面展示南沙从“广东首批十亿元级现代农业产业集群”向“国际一流观赏鱼进出口产业集聚区”迈进的华丽蝶变。目前，全国最大热带小型观赏鱼养殖基地广州青青自然农业科技公司产品已远销欧美，新加坡企业南岛水族淡水观赏鱼贸易基地加速推进，形成“引进来”与“走出去”双向发力的产业格局。

依托华南最大综合性枢纽港优势，南沙已开辟170余条国际班轮航线，集装箱吞吐量稳居全球单一港区前列，成为全国最大榴莲、车厘子海运进口口岸，累计接卸量分别达45万吨、30万吨；还是华南地区最大粮食分拨中心，外贸粮食接卸量超1000万吨。高效的物流网络让“新鲜”触手可及——进口鲜果、冻肉从南沙港卸船后2小时即可直达大湾区各大市场。

作为国家级农业对外开放合作试验区重点项目，“国际宠物社区”融合国际标准动物诊疗、时尚美容沙龙、健康产品零售、前沿科研及政府公共服务，构建宠物全生命周期照护体系，同时设置专属休闲互动区，成为连接爱宠人士的“情感交流空间”。
