On October 24th, the world's first brain-inspired algorithmic computing entity, "BI Explorer, BIE-1", made its debut. Slightly larger than a mini single-door refrigerator, it boasts supercomputing power within its compact frame. Its emergence brings supercomputing from the "cloud" to your "side". As a portable development platform, it will empower a wide range of industries and ordinary households to customize exclusive intelligent services.

Within a space roughly the size of a mini refrigerator—less than 1 cubic meter, "BI Explorer, BIE-1" integrates 1,152 CPU cores, 4.8TB of memory to ensure efficient training model loading, and 204TB of storage capacity, which is sufficient to support the localized training data of a medium and large enterprise.

What truly makes "BI Explorer, BIE-1" stand out is its "intelligent core," a unique brain-inspired algorithm built on an Intuitive Neural Network (INN)that mimics human brain functions. This enables "BI Explorer, BIE-1" to excel in multiple aspects. For example, it can grasp patterns with only small amounts of data and continuously learn new knowledge without forgetting old skills. At the same time, it can also simultaneously process diverse information such as text, images, and audio.

When discussing the development and application prospects of "BI Explorer, BIE-1", the R&D team explained that both individuals and enterprises can customize their own intelligent partners according to their specific needs. Beyond routine tasks such as efficiently handling language models, "BI Explorer, BIE-1" can easily expand into diverse application scenarios such as visual analysis, biomedical reasoning, and multimodal fusion, offering a new solution to the challenges of "limited data and insufficient computing power" across a wide range of industries.
