On September 29, a reception was held in Guangzhou to celebrate the 76th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. The event was attended by foreign consular officials stationed in Guangzhou, representatives of the "Guangdong Friendship Award" recipients, delegates from international sister cities and friendly organizations in Guangdong, as well as representatives from foreign enterprises, financial institutions, and news agencies operating in the province. Also present were compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, as well as overseas Chinese and Chinese nationals residing in Guangdong.
We interviewed several foreign consular officials in Guangzhou to hear their perspectives on Guangdong and Guangzhou—and, most importantly, to share their National Day wishes!
