On September 19th, the 3rd Vocational Skills Competition of the People's Republic of China kicked off in grand style in Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Guangdong impressed audiences by showcasing cutting-edge technologies, such as AI digital humans and wheel-legged robots, along with cultural and collaborative highlights, including the intangible cultural heritage dough modeling and collaborative skills projects from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

Guangdong's technical colleges showcased a variety of highlights, such as an AI digital human serving as a sparring partner for gold medalists of  WorldSkills Competition, a robot giving a class on Ne Zha 3D animation design, dough figurines of  Yingge dancers being made with Shantou's dough modeling technique, a barista champion brewing latte art coffee on site, food printers producing DIY latte-art cookies, and palm-drawn paintings created in just 30 seconds. Robots and AI digital humans took center stage throughout the competition.

As a powerhouse in skills development, Guangdong is home to 22.01 million skilled workers, including 8.27 million highly-skilled workers. Since first competing at the WorldSkills Competition in 2011, contestants from Guangdong have won 35 gold medals, 16 silver medals, 14 bronze medals, and 26 medallions for excellence, achieving remarkable results in 136 international competitions.

视频｜AI数字人、轮腿机器人……广东把这些黑科技带到全国技能大赛

9月19日，中华人民共和国第三届职业技能大赛在河南郑州盛大开幕。广东省携AI数字人、轮腿机器人等前沿科技成果，及非遗面塑、粤港澳协同技能项目等文化与合作亮点惊艳亮相。

AI数字人当世赛金牌陪练、机器人课堂教学哪吒三维动画设计制作、汕头非遗面塑捏出英歌舞人物、咖啡师冠军亲手制作拉花拿铁咖啡、食品打印机DIY拉花饼干、30秒用手掌画一幅画……此次广东技工院校带来不少新技术，机器人和AI数字人在现场大显身手。

作为技能大省，广东全省技能人才总量达2201万，其中高技能人才827万。自2011年首次参加世界技能大赛以来，广东选手累计斩获35金、16银、14铜及26个优胜奖，并在136项国际赛事中屡创佳绩。
