Art and Culture | In Jieyang and throughout the Chaoshan region, serving Gongfu tea is the first ritual for hosting guests. Amidst the swirling tea fragrance, bonds of friendship are quietly forged. For centuries, stir-fried tea has been passed down through generations, adhering to traditional planting techniques and handcrafted tea-making processes. Its production involves steps such as tea picking, killing the green, stir-firing, screening, upgrading, and storing the tea. It contains four components beneficial to human health: catechins, caffeine, theophylline, and fluoride, making regular consumption good for well-being. #artandculture
在揭阳乃至整个潮汕地区,品工夫茶均是礼宾待客的第一道环节。茶香袅袅间,人情已然传递。数百年间,炒茶一直依照传统种植技术和手工制茶工艺,世代传承。其制作过程包括摘茶、杀青、炒茶青、筛选茶、升茶、储茶等工序,含有儿茶素、咖啡因、茶碱、氟等四种对人体有益的成分,常饮有保健之效。
