The 2025 summer fishing moratorium in the South China Sea officially ended last month, bringing vitality back to Kunpeng Village, a fishing village in Guanghai Town, Taishan City, Jiangmen, Guangdong. As a purely fishing-based community, Kunpeng Village is home to 312 fishing vessels of varying sizes.


In recent years, the village has innovatively introduced an e-commerce shop specializing in local agricultural products. Dried fish, dried shrimp, dried seaweed, dried oysters, shrimp paste, and other local specialties have generated a cumulative sales volume of 800,000 yuan.



During the 2025 May Day holiday, the village welcomed a record high of 85,000 visitors. Tourists can enjoy a range of activities, including sipping coffeeat the seaside while watching sunsets, snapping photos at the Fisherman's Wharf lighthouse in the harbor, purchasing fresh seafood at the aquatic products trading center for a sumptuous seafood feast, and experiencing fishing-village life in the characteristic homestays.

2025年南海伏季休渔期上月结束,位于江门台山市广海镇的渔村鲲鹏村随之热闹起来。据介绍,鲲鹏村是一个纯渔业村,有大小渔船312艘。
近年来,鲲鹏村创新打造农产品电商小铺,鱼干、虾干、紫菜干、蚝干、虾酱等当地特产累计销售额达80万元。
“五一”假期共有8.5万人次的旅客游览鲲鹏村,创下历史之最。来到鲲鹏村游客可以点一杯咖啡、欣赏海边日落;到渔港里的渔人码头灯塔“打卡”留念;到水产交易中心购买新鲜海货,品尝一顿丰盛的海鲜大餐;居住特色民宿,体验渔村生活等。
