The two-month summer travel season concluded today (August 31st). According to the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC), domestic airlines are projected to transport 147 million passengers during this period, averaging 2.37 million passengers per day, a 3.6% increase year-on-year. Passenger volume peaked on August 15th at 2.57 million, surpassing historical records. Nationwide, airlines are expected to operate 1.199 million flights during the summer season, up 3.6% from last year. The average seat occupancy rate reached 84.82%.

Additionally, CAAC data indicates that the international air transport market expanded rapidly this summer, with the number of countries served increasing to 80. It is projected that 123,000 international passenger flights operated by Chinese and foreign airlines were supported. During this summer travel season, international passenger flight volume peaked in early August, with approximately 2,100 flights operated daily, about 93% of the 2019 level.

民航暑运旅客运输量预计1.47亿人次，同比增长3.6%

为期两个月的暑运今天（8月31日）结束。记者从民航局了解到，今年暑运期间，全国民航预计累计运输旅客1.47亿人次，日均237万人次，同比增长3.6%。其中，8月15日旅客运输量达256.53万人次，超过历史最高水平。 暑运期间，全国民航预计共保障航班119.9万班，同比增长3.6%。平均客座率达84.82%。

此外，民航局数据还显示，今年暑期，国际航空运输市场也快速拓展，通航国家增至80个，预计保障中外航空公司国际客运航班12.3万班。今年暑运期间，国际客运航班量在8月上旬达到高峰，每日执行2100班左右，约为2019年的93%。
