On August 1st, a shipment worth 35,000 US dollars, containing more than 2,000 cosmetics such as body lotions, hair wax and toothpaste, was inspected and cleared by Liwan Customs, affiliated with Guangzhou Customs, and loaded onto a ship at the Port of Huadu bound for Tanzania. This marks the first time that cosmetics have been exported from Guangzhou via the market procurement trade, signifying another major step forward in the city's efforts to drive innovation in market procurement trade.

According to customs officers, given the wide variety of products and diverse market demand in Guangzhou's cosmetics industry, Guangzhou Customs has formulated a list of approved cosmetics categories and destination countries (regions) via the market procurement trade, implementing pilot programs with a tiered and categorized approach. Currently, nine major types of cosmetics are covered, including rinse-off products, with each category tailored for different countries and regions, expanding markets to China's Hong Kong and Macao, Southeast Asia, Africa and South America.

In the first half of 2025, Guangzhou's market procurement export increased by 81.5% year-on-year. Moving forward, reform and innovation will continue to empower foreign trade entities, accelerating the global expansion of the fashion industry in Huadu.

广州首次！一港通方式的市场采购贸易出口化妆品在花都启航

8月1日，一箱满载2000多件身体乳、发蜡、牙膏等化妆品的3.5万美元货物，在广州海关下属荔湾海关完成报检报关后，经花都港装船启运前往坦桑尼亚。这是广州首次通过市场采购贸易方式出口的化妆品，标志着广州在推动市场采购贸易创新发展上又迈出了一大步。

海关相关负责人表示，针对广州化妆品产业品类丰富、市场需求多元的特点，广州海关制定关区市场采购出口化妆品国家（地区）和产品类别清单，分级分类开展试点工作，目前覆盖淋洗类等9大种类化妆品，并针对不同品类细化可出口的国家地区，涵盖中国港澳、东南亚、非洲、南美洲等市场。

今年上半年，广州市场采购贸易出口同比增长81.5%，接下来将以改革创新赋能外贸主体，加速推动花都时尚产业迈向全球市场。
