On the evening of August 3, Guangzhou unveiled the results of its city-wide "beauty contest"—the 2025 Top Eight Sights of Guangzhou. Crowned as the new cultural landmarks are: Canton Tower Amid Blooming City, Verdant Baiyun Mountain, Yuexiu's Eternal Glory, Lychee Bay's Grandeur, Nansha's Rising Sun, Huangpu's Cloud-like Sail, Chimelong's Joyful Realm, and Mist-Shrouded Liuxi River.

8月3日晚，一场广州全市人民关注的城市“选美”活动结果揭晓——2025年“羊城八景”正式发布：塔映花城、云山叠翠、越秀风华、荔湾胜境、南沙旭日、黄埔云帆、欢乐长隆、流溪烟渚最终当选。
