As a key host city for the 15th National Games, the 12th National Games for Persons with Disabilities and the 9th National Special Olympic Games (collectively referred to as the Games), Zhuhai is responsible for organizing eight major competition events.

Among them, the men's individual road cycling race stands out as China's first sports event to seamlessly span the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), and the only tri-regional event in this edition of theNational Games. Held on November 24th, 2024, the GBA Road Cycling Race and the 15th National Games road cycling test event set three world records: the world's longest sea-crossing bridge ride, the longest ride through an undersea tunnel, and the longest test course in National Games history.

The planned race route begins at Zhuhai Museum, passing iconic landmarks and scenic spots such as the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, Lovers' Road in Zhuhai, Macao Bridge, Hong Kong Disneyland, and the Guangdong-Macao In-depth Cooperation Zonein Hengqin, showcasing the cultural and geographic unity of the region.

Regional collaboration continues to deepen in public services. A pilot program for cross-border medical data sharing among Macao, Hengqin, and Zhuhai will soon launch, allowing for the exchange of medical records, imaging data, and lab results.

After the Games, all competition venues will be opened to the public under a "free or low-cost" access model. Along the scenic Lovers' Road, upgraded facilities have become popular spots for residents to enjoy coastal breezes, while activities like rowing in Xiangzhou, dragon boat racing in Doumen, and cycling in Jinwan continue to fuel the city's fitness boom.

珠海借十五运会打造滨海幸福之城

作为十五运会和残特奥会的重要承办地，珠海共承担了8个项目的办赛任务。

十五运会赛事中，珠海承办的公路自行车项目男子个人赛是全国首次跨越融通粤港澳三地的体育赛事，也是十五运会唯一一个粤港澳三地融合比赛项目。2024年11月24日，珠海赛区举办的粤港澳公路自行车赛暨十五运会公路自行车测试赛，创下“世界海上跨桥骑行最长、穿越海底隧道最长、全运会测试赛路程最长”三项历史性纪录。

十五运会公路自行车项目男子个人赛规划的比赛路线从珠海博物馆出发，途经世纪工程港珠澳大桥、珠海情侣路以及澳门大桥、香港迪士尼乐园、横琴粤澳深度合作区等粤港澳标志性人文景点与风光带。

在公共服务领域，粤港澳协作的触角持续拓展。“澳门+横琴+珠海”跨境医疗数据合作试点即将启动，将推动病历、影像、检验报告等医疗数据的跨境共享。

赛后所有场馆将以“免费+低收费”模式向市民开放。情侣路沿线设施已成为市民“临海听风”的网红打卡点，香洲赛艇、斗门龙舟、金湾自行车等，更让全民健身热潮持续涌动。
